Hampton Inn & Suites Texarkana

Chose this location knowing I will be coming in late & using a digital key.close to I30.Got to the property at 130am. Didn't see any employees or eat breakfast. Room was nice beds where comfortable. Restroom was a good size. The best part of everything check out was at 12pm. Got to get rest after traveling 12hr & 9 hr more to go. Great location next to the mall. I will stay again. If you are reading this yr loved & safe travels

This is our go to hotel Everytime we travel to Texarkana. Always friendly service. Clean rooms, great breakfast & my boys love the indoor pool!

Receptionist most friendly and courtesy you could ask for. On vacation, checked in late. Receptionist had us booked in and in our rooms pronto.

I did not actually stay here, but my husband who drives over the road was staying overnight on September 8th, 2025. We'd talked before he went to bed and things sounded fine. Fast forward to almost midnight when he called saying he wasn't feeling well, he didn't know what was going on, and he sounded panicked. I looked up his location to call the front desk. Franziska answered, patiently listened to me alerting her that he may have been having a medical emergency, and emergency services was needed...he was there in Texarkana and I was 4 hours away in Cordova (Memphis), TN, having no way of getting to him. Luckily, I knew his room # and could tell her, and she used it to go check on him herself. In the meantime, she asked if I wanted to wait on hold or if she wanted me to let her call me back, and I opted to wait which felt like an eternity. She eventually came back to the phone letting me know that EMS had gotten there, and they were assessing him and transporting him to the nearest hospital, Saint Michael. She took her time to get his info, my info, keep me calm, and give me the hospital's numbers. She didn't brush me off or rush me off the phone, and even asked that I call her back to let her know how he was doing after he'd been assessed. Thank God, he was okay. I called back to let her know how he was and how appreciative we were of her and how she handled the situation. Again, she took her time to speak with me, and I appreciated her going above and beyond. I am very happy she was there when this happened. She made a very scary situation easier for him and me.

This is my third stay at the Hampton Inn Texarkana – Cowhorn Creek for work, so I’ve gotten a good feel for the place. Breakfast is consistently solid with a nice variety, and the beds are comfy enough for a decent night’s sleep. Jenna at the front desk is a total gem—friendly, professional, and she really makes Diamond level members feel valued. Check-in is always quick and painless. They’ve got a decent little snack section in the lobby, which is handy for a late-night drink or quick bite without having to leave the property. On the flip side, my current room (408) has a noticeable musty/mildew smell—likely from the carpet, which could use replacing. Overall, it’s a decent stay, but a little overpriced, especially when you compare it to the Hampton Inn in Arkansas just three miles away that’s typically $30 cheaper per night. That price gap feels odd given how similar the properties are.

Wonderful hotel experience, located very centrally. The hotel had an old timey experience to it almost like it hadn't been updated in years

Decent location, wish there was a more direct route from the freeway to the hotel. Property was clean and inviting. Parking was a little tricky due to nearby construction & some vehicles parallel parking across multiple spaces. Room was big and perfect for our family. I loved that the restroom had a dimming night light so you didn't get blinded going in in the middle of the night. Breakfast had a good variety and the area was clean. I was not recognized as a rewards member, nor given any bottled water/snacks like I usually receive at other Hilton owned properties so that was a little disappointing. I've stayed at multiple hotels in this area, and this one is by far the best value.

Perfect location. Even cloae to an Extended Care place if you were sick. Plenty of eating place and a decent mall as well.
